Unity Christ Church of Ft. Wayne began as a result of a railroad mail car attendant discovering Daily Word magazine passing through the mail car.
In 1939 William Sullivan, the railroad worker, and a small group of friends met in the Old Wayne Hotel and held services under the name Unity Church of Christ.
The first minister was Rev. Frederick Andrews.
In 1964 the present church was built. In 1987 another expansion was added.
Under the leadership of Rev. Claudette Farone, the church was renamed Unity Christ Church of Fort Wayne.
At present we are empowering our members, through our Love in Action volunteer program to be carriers of our church vision.
The present minister, Mary Wood, is strongly committed to the idea that ours is a "Church for All People."
